The Laggan Public School difference
A strong start
Our school welcomes all students from all backgrounds. We help every child feel safe, included and ready to learn from their very first day.
Growth in the classroom and beyond
We offer our students a wide range of subjects and opportunities. This empowers each individual to embrace learning, develop skills, and discover their passions.
Numeracy, Literacy, STEM, Art, History, Geography, Home Science and Horticulture.
Support for every family
Our teachers, learning and wellbeing support teams work with our families co-designing plans that help students learn in the way that works best for them.
Healthy Food Focus
The Laggan Public School encourages healthy eating, lifestyle and wellbeing and has a long-running healthy lunchbox, fresh food first approach.
Garden to Kitchen Program
We are proud to be a part of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen to Garden Foundation (SAKGF). Our school uses resources from the SAKGF Shared Table Program and implements these to outdoor learning in our vegetable garden, playgrounds and kitchen lessons on a weekly basis. A win, win for health and wellbeing of our students!
Our champions
At Laggan Public School our students have opportunities to compete with other small schools in varied athletic competitions.
