Meatball Pasta

Meatball Pasta bowls came back empty to the kitchen sink.

Meatball Pasta

Our students practiced setting the table so they could enjoy sitting together, eating their cooking and talking about three things they enjoyed at school this week.

Even a vase of roses took centre place.

Of course, cooking was at the top of their thoughts, and why not when you can cook meatball pasta!!!

We want to share the recipe and steps to that yummy dish!

Cook a packet of spiral pasta in some boiling water approx 15 minutes then drain. Add to a large baking dish.

In a fry pan add some olive oil and brown 2 diced onions and your premade or homemade meatballs (two meatballs per person).

Once browned, add 1 large bottle of pasta sauce (your choice), stirring and simmering a further 5 minutes.

Place this cooked mix on top of the pasta and sprinkle with grated cheese.

Bake in the oven for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.

Take out of the oven a cool slightly before serving into small bowls.

Note: You can add some frozen mixed vegetables, chopped spinach and kale or fresh herbs to the meatball mix if preferred for a main meal and serve beside a crunchy green salad or steamed veges.

All bowls came to the kitchen sink empty.
